In this post Osasu Igbinedion will be having exclusive interview with his excellency Donald Duke who is the former Governor of Cross River State from 1999 – 2007. She will be speaking to him about his presidential ambition and what he intends to bring into the table.

Question:

How realistic is your presidential ambition knowing you are still remembering, the PDP despite your coalition for movement of Nigeria given the fact that PDP has zoned the presidency to the North.

Answer:

You cannot zone my constitutional right, I (Donald Duke) have a right to expire, I have a right to win, I have a right to lose. How realistic is dependent on the electorates, they would realise my ambition. Am not going to sit down here and second guess that o some people will not vote for me. I believe there is enough frustration in Nigeria for us to take the scale of our eyes and say look who is going to solve our problems.

Nevertheless, you see if I run I might lose, if I do not run I am guaranteed to lose. Therefore, I will give it a shot; I will give Nigerians the option of Donald Duke if they think he is good enough, fine!

Well, I say to folks if you are afraid of losing money do not go to Casino. The worse that would happen is that I lose but for me the bigger lost is not even offering myself and that is what I am afraid of I want to put myself forward. I want to be able at the end of the day to say at least I put myself forward rather than complain and bitter as we have been doing for donkey years now.
