The past National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Olisa Metuh says that the Federal High Court in Abuja missed a wonderful opportunity to establish the state his health.

Metuh said his lawyers on three different occasions moved the applications for the prosecution the EFCC to bring their medical team or their medical personnel to examine the state of his health because issues to do with MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), scan and X-rays are scientific they are not empirical.

Furthermore, the court on its own could have setup a medical team for them to know. To have findings without medical records is not really the best in terms of practice. 

We have a ruling where we were directed that we could not produce medical records in court that we could not put report from any doctor in Nigeria and in the course of this ill health, I had been to three different federal teaching hospitals.

I have never done anything to perjure in court or to give the court false impression; the court can always recall and put this test for Nigerians to know. Setups a medical panel and let the medical panel come and do MRI to establish the extent and let Nigerians know whether I misled the court.

Those are strong words to say that I misled the court, very strong words.
