In Osun State Government Secretariat is the Bola Ige House, the seat of the Governor of the State. Since its days as Osun division in the old Oyo State, Osun State and its people are known for peculiarity and dynamism in politics.

Moreover, with the creation of the State Osun in 1991 the people have the opportunity to pull into full play this political dexterity. History will not quickly forget the entrance of Late Isiaka Adeleke as he kept in and became the first executive Governor of the State in 1992.

The issue of mega resources has always been the burn of contention in the polity and policies of Osun State overtime and with the entrance of Bisi Akonde as the elected Governor of the State in 1999, this also shaped the polity and reaction of the people.
